"First actress of Dagestan" exhibition opens in Moscow

Makhachkala, November 21, 2014. An artistic-documentary exhibition "First actress of Dagestan", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Dagestani actress Bariyat Muradova took place in the Art Salon Theater Company – the branch of the A. A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum on November 20, the press service of the Permanent Mission of Dagestan at the President of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition of artifacts, provided by Dagestan Museum of Theater History and the actress’s family archive, visitors can see portraits, costumes, shooting sketches for performances and films, pieces of scenery, scenic and graphic portraits, posters, videos with her participation.

It should be noted that the Permanent Mission of Dagestan at the President of the Russian Federation contributed to the exhibition, allocating funds for the restoration of film sketches with Bariyat Muradova "Clouds are running the sky"  made by the soviet illustrator Vladimir Lebedev.

This evening, many guests, such as leaders of Moscow theaters, arts critics, theater workers, actors, as well as friends, relatives and other fans of the actress, her talent came to touch the creative life of the actress.

The exhibition will last till December 14.
