Makhachkala, January 10, 2020. On January 4 – 7, the city of Nalchik hosted the IV International Art Olympiad "Eurasia Talents 2020" attended by ensembles from the regions of Russia, as well as from Abkhazia, Afghanistan, Africa, Egypt, India, Yemen, Turkmenistan and South Ossetia.

The participants of the Olympiad competed in five nominations: vocals, recitation art, instrumental performance, plein air of young artists and choreography. The choreographic dance ensemble of the Caucasian peoples "Edelweis" from the Novolak school of art under the guidance of Murad Suleymanov has been awarded with a gold medal in the nomination "choreography".

Besides, Rashidat Guseynova, the director of School of Arts named after A. Kurbanmagomedov located in Novolaksky district, has been appraised for his significant contribution to the development of cultural values and creative potential of the younger generation, preservation of national identity and dignity of the peoples of the Republic of Dagestan.

The Olympiad of Arts “Eurasia Talents 2020” ended with a gala concert of the winners, at which the official awarding ceremony with gold medals, diplomas of laureates, certificates and letters of appreciation took place. Within the framework of the "Eurasia Talents 2020" competition, master classes, friendship evenings, creative laboratories for team leaders, acquaintance with the sights of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkarian were held.
