Dagestani tennis players win Open Tennis Championship in Voronezh region

Makhachkala, September 28, 2015. Dagestan tennis players - sisters Elnara and Milana Zhabrailov became winners of the Open Tennis Championship in Voronezh region, held on September 21 to 28.

Acting as a pair, sisters Zhabrailov performed in four matches in the local courts. In the first round, Dagestan tennis players defeated their counterparts - Bychkova / Gaylyute (6/2, 6/1), in the second - Romanuta / Romaniuk (6/2, 5/7, 10/5), in the third - Luponosova / Surikova (4 / 6, 7/5, 12/10) and in the final gained a victory over a couple - Pobedinskaya / Novoselova (6/2, 6/1).

For the eldest of the sisters Zhabrailov – Elnara, who missed several tournaments because of an injury, the Open Championship has become the first championship after a year of inactivity.
