Creative collectives of Dagestan to take part in "Derbent - a crossroad of civilizations" festival
The festival will be held in Makhachkala and Derbent on December 13 – 18, the press service of the Republican House of Folk Art at the Ministry of Culture RD reports.
The audience will be offered performances and art projects of different genre orientation. The creative collectives and individuals will present performances in all popular genres - from vocal to circus.
Besides, art projects, exhibitions, discussion platforms with participation of the leading scientists, art historians, cultural figures will be organized.
The Forum-Festival is one of the projects implemented as part of celebration of the 2000th anniversary of Derbent. At the initiative of V.Putin, the celebration of the 2000th anniversary of Derbent was prolonged until 2018.
