Makhachkala, September 25, 2017. The Ministry of Tourism and Folk Art Crafts of Dagestan intends to grant the craftsmen residing in the republic an opportunity to produce souvenirs with the symbols of the World Cup 2018, the press service department informs.

"There are greater opportunities for the formation and development of partnerships, attracting the attention of the professional community to the tourist potential of the regions, and in particular to Dagestan. The priority types of tourism were identified in the spheres of culture, healthcare, gastronomy and ethnicы. These kinds of tourism are being purposefully developed in our republic and are in demand among the residents of many regions of the country" - the press service quotes the words of the First Deputy Minister of Tourism and Folk Art Crafts of Dagestan Vitaly Demchenko.

The delegation from the republic took part in the XXIII International Travel Forum "Rest" in Moscow in September. "During the conferences, we discussed preparations for the championship, and within the framework of this work, the Ministry of Tourism plans to suggest producing a variety of products bearing the symbols of the 2018 World Cup to the local folk craft masters".
