Conductor from South Korea performs with National Orchestra of Dagestan

Makhachkala, February 20, 2018. A concert of the National Symphony Orchestra of Dagestan conducted by Li Gin Wu, with the participation of soloists from North Ossetia and South Korea has performed February 17 on the stage of the Kumyk Music and Drama Theater in Makhachkala

The graduate of Moscow State Conservatory, Li Guy Wu, conducted many concerts in the cities of Russia and performed with the Dagestan orchestra for the first time. The musicians from North Ossetia Roman and Nelly Goncharuk, as well as the young violin player from South Korea Kim Tae-hwan, soloed on the stage.

The orchestra performed masterpieces of musical classics - Concerto No. 20 in D minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Sebastian Bach's concert, 1st part in A minor for violin and orchestra and Antonio Vivaldi's concerto for two oboes. At the end of the evening they performed the famous "Mozart's Little Nocturnal Serenade" in four parts. The guests from South Korea were presented with honorary diplomas from the Republic of Dagestan in gratitude for the development of intercultural relations.
