Bariyat Muradova’s jubilee celebrates in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, November 17, 2014. Solemn event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Daghestani famous actress Bariyat Myradova took place in the hall of the Russian Drama Theater in Makhachkala.
The chairman of the Republican Legislative Assembly Khizri Shikhsaidov, Interim Daghestan Prime Minister Anatoly Karibov and other officials, relatives and admirers of the great actress attended the event. For the beginning, a film about Muradova's life and creative career was shown to the audience.

Khizri Shihsaidov, congratulating the participants with the event, noted that the republic has celebrated the anniversary of the great person, whose talent impressed for several generations.
Bariyat Muradova was not only a brilliant actress and theater arts legend, she was a true patriot. We can talk about patriotism, about what this word mean, but there are people whose lives are true witness of patriotism to their motherland.

Her artistic biography enumerates more than 200 roles. She was repeatedly elected as a deputy of the city council workers, a deputy of the Supreme Council of Daghestan, the Supreme Council of the USSR. She participated in discussing questions of vital importance to the cultural life of our country; her achievements were to be acknowledged by honorary degrees. Bariyat Myradova's life and creative career are worthy examples of serving the homeland, the multiethnic Daghestan.

Aygum Aygumov, People's Artist of Russia, the artistic director of Kumuk theater, noted that the historical personalities, respected and valued in the society reflect not only the history of the country, but also the history of its art.

“Bariyat Muradova managed to play as dramatic, tragic, heroic and lyrical, satirical, and vaudeville, operetta images. I was fortunate to be acquainted with this amazingly charming and talented woman. Having come to Kumuk theater, I saw the whole galaxy of actors who revive the National Theatre and the art that we all remember today"- Aygumov concluded.
