Makhachkala, February 4, 2015. On Tuesday, February 3, the Interim Prime Minister of Dagestan Anatoly Karibov got acquainted with the construction of Poetry Theatre.

It should be noted that according to the Russian President’s Decree (No. 426 dated June 12, 2014) 2015 is declared to be the Year of Literature in the Russian Federation. The opening of the Poetry Theatre in Makhachkala, of course, is one of the most important cultural event with basic tasks to attract attention and stimulate Russian people’s interest in books, to revive the tradition of poetic performance, to prepare artists' talent pool in the future and to promote poetry outside the republic of Dagestan.

The main objectives of the state budget organization RD "Theatre of Poetry" is to stimulate the viewer's interest to the poetry.

Having visited the construction site of the future cultural object, Anatoly Karibov instructed to speed up the pace of construction. He also stressed that all the finishing work should be done at the highest level.
