Moscow, March 13, 2015. Dagestan minister of industry, trade and investment Yussuf Umavov participated in the plenary session of the INVESTRUS international conference on ensuring investment growth in Russia which is now taking place in Moscow, the ministry’s press service told RIA Dagestan.
The event is under the auspices of the Investment Council by the Russian State Duma Chairman being supported by the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Advisory Council on Foreign Investment in Russia.
The Russian State Duma Chairman Sergey Naryshkin opened the meeting then giving the floor to speakers: CEO of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Andrei Nikitin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship Igor Rudensky, and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev.
The conference discussed legislative measures to stimulate investment activity, the role and prospects of the domestic banking system in allocation of internal economic resources, the efficiency of the monetary policy, the measures taken by the Russian government to effectively attract and protect foreign and domestic investments, reducing administrative barriers for investors and entrepreneurs, and other issues.
INVESTRUS is one of the most authoritative discussion platforms in Russia which regularly brings together investors and relevant experts.
