Waste sorting plant to be launched in 2017

Makhachkala, December 12, 2016. The new waste sorting plant in Dagestan will be put into service in early 2017 in Kaspiysk, the head of Makhachkala Committee on Ecology and the Environment at Dagestan Ministry of Natural Resources Arslan Saypullaev informs.

"The plant is expected to recycle around one million used car tires thrown annually in Dagestan. The capacity of the enterprise makes one ton per hour. The total capacity will make about 200 thousand tons per year. It is enough to serve the entire region. The waste sorting plant will be put into operation in early 2017" - Saypullaev stated.

The plant is expected to serve Kaspiysk and two municipal districts of Makhachkala. The second factory will be opened in Krasnoarmeysk village located in Kirov district of Makhachkala. The resulting rubber crumb will be used as a secondary material for the creation of courts, children's playgrounds and paving.
