Makhachkala, April 15, 2016. It is planned to build three new industrial parks on the territory of Dagestan by the end of 2016 - the head of the Industry and Trade Ministry of the Republic Yusup Umavov says.
"For the present time only two industrial parks and four techno parks operate in Dagestan. In total, up to 2020, it is planned to create 17 industrial parks in the republic." - Umavov informed at the press conference devoted to the issues of creation of regional industrial parks, held in Chelyabinsk region.
The event participants raised questions about the construction of a number of plants on the territory of Dagestan. In particular, the executives discussed the project on construction of plant for the production of building materials and metal structures for greenhouses.
Earlier, the republican parliament adopted a bill "On the industrial parks of the Republic of Dagestan" and the relevant sub-program "Industrial Parks" as part of the state program of the republic of Dagestan "The development of industry in 2015-2020". The main goal of the program is to accelerate business development in the region and to strengthen the industrial sector of its economy .
