Makhachkala, April 20, 2016. An investment group of companies from St. Petersburg intends to construct a tourist base near Yarydag mountain in southern Dagestan, - the Tourism Ministry official reports.

The Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Dagestan Magomed Isayev met with the deputy of the municipal Legislative Assembly of Khivsky District Marat Aslanov who represented the interests of the investment group of companies from St. Petersburg and considered a range of issues related to the project. The big construction company intends to develop tourist infrastructure plateau near Mount Yarydag. During the meeting the minister supported the investors’ initiative and promised every kind of assistance.

In accordance with the schedule of construction, the investors will build tourist residential houses made of Siberian pine, a sauna complex, summer houses, power generating point and an assembly hall. The construction works are scheduled to start before the "Yarydag-2016" festival in July 2016.
