According to results of the first quarter of 2023, the industry of Dagestan displays a more than 20% decline. The strongest decline in indicators is noted in such areas as beverage production, mining, energy generation and some types of production. "The main reasons for the decline in industrial production rates are sanctions restrictions, problems with exports, sales and logistics, changes in contract terms of supply and the development of new types of products" - the regional Government official reports.
