Makhachkala, April 2, 2018. In 2018, 130 million rubles will be allocated for the gasification of a number of municipalities in Dagestan. The appropriate funds have been included into the republican budget.

The program provides for the construction of supply and inter-settlement gas networks in the districts of Makhachkala and Khasavyurt, as well as the settlements located in Akushinsky, Kaytagsky, Babayurtovsky, Kazbekovsky, Kizilyurtovsky and Karabudakhkent municipal districts. Besides, the funds will be spent for the gasification of houses within the municipalities of the republic.

It should be noted that the regional gasification program was designed until 2022. The amount of funding for the program totals RUR 3.4 billion from the federal and republican budgets, as well as from Gazprom JSC. The program will increase the length of the gas supply networks by 38 km, the inter-settlement networks by 1,026 km and the intra-settlement networks by 533 km. During this period, 150 settlements will be gasified, bringing the gasification level of the republic up to 79%.
