Makhachkala, September 10, 2014. Around 850 million rubles were allocated for small and medium-sized businesses development in Daghestan in 2013-2014, Daghestan ministry of trade, investment and entrepreneurship informed RIA "Dagestan".

Daghestan minister of trade Yussup Umavov says this is the 7th program for developing small and medium-sized businesses in Daghestan. The current program designed for 2012-2015 is approved by the №27 Daghestan Law of June 5, 2012. Similar programs are approved in all 52 municipalities of the republic. They are all aimed at providing favorable economic, legal, and social environment for rapid development of small and medium-sized businesses, involving the general public in entrepreneurship, and increasing tax payments to different level budgets.

Yussup Umavov added that Daghestan is an active participant to tenders for state support of small and medium-sized businesses held by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development on co-financing terms. Daghestan’s tender winning record has attracted the 300 million rubles per year from the federal budget for developing entrepreneurship in the region. E.g., in 2013, Daghestan ministry won the tender for 336.1 million rubles, which is 15.11% more than that in 2012.
