Makhachkala, November 1, 2017. The road construction output in Dagestan last year exceeded the all-Russian indicators by 2.5 times and amounted to more than 70 km of roads and about 600 meters of bridges. This was announced on Tuesday by the head of the Agency for Road Economy of the Republic of Dagestan (Dagavtodor) Zagid Khuchbarov.

In 2016, according to the official data, Dagestan road builders used 260 thousand tons of asphalt. In 2016, Dagavtodor officer says, the repair and construction works on local and republican roads were conducted in 33 districts of Dagestan. In their course, 76 km of roads were built and reconstructed, 271.8 km of roads were repaired.
