Makhachkala, September 29, 2019. The V Russian Forum “RIF.Kavkaz - 2019” has been solemnly opened in Dagestan. The speakers from all over Russia will deliver their reports that mainly concern the implementation of the national project “Digital Economy” in Dagestan.

The dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Management of Dagestan State University for National Economy Karahan Radjabov made a report on the topic "The system of education and competencies of the digital economy." “We have trained 25 thousand IT specialists, but, according to the employers, only 15% of them are the true professionals. The educational organizations in the republic should have relevant competencies, we execute this work at an early stage.

A spectrum of new professions will soon appear. It triggers the need to establish a digital university in the republic. It is necessary to observe strict requirements to make everything in due way. The labor market is changing, the digital skills are becoming critically important for the employers” -  the speaker said.

Recall the forum has started today in Makhachkala in the museum “Russia is my history” and will last for two days. It is expected that on the second day of the forum the participants will be addressed by the Russian Federation Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Konstantin Noskov.
