Representatives of Dagestan take part in INNOPROM industrial exhibition in Yekaterinburg

Yekaterinburg, July 13, 2019. Two large-scale international events have come to the end in Yekaterinburg - the industrial exhibition INNOPROM and the Global Summit of Production and Industrialization GMIS-2019. On the very first day, the site was visited by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As reported, Dagestani Minister of Industry and Energy Saigidpasha Umakhanov and the chairman of the National Cultural Center "My Dagestan" Zaynula Darbishukhumayev participated in the events a part of Dagestan delegation.

INNOPROM is the main industrial, trading and export site in Russia. This year’s event was a record for the number of foreign national stands: 14 expositions of foreign countries were presented, which is twice as many as in 2018. INNOPROM serves as a platform where the foundations of industrial policy are laid. About 80% of visitors to the exhibition are professional buyers from around the world, the specialists from industrial enterprises, who make decisions about introducing new products and technologies into production.

Saigidpasha Umakhanov and Zaynula Darbishukhumayev visited the pavilion of Sverdlovsk region. For the first time, it was equipped with thematic negotiation platforms: “Contacts Exchange” and “Consultation Zone” used for negotiations and business meetings.

“Sverdlovsk region presented five key thematic areas. Two of them are devoted to significant dates: the 85th anniversary of Sverdlovsk region and the 10th anniversary of the INNOPROM exhibition. Besides, with the help of multimedia equipment, the pavilion officers presented an investment map of Sverdlovsk region, a map of social projects implemented in the region to improve life and increase comfort for residents and a map of national projects implemented in the Middle Urals” - Darbishukhumayev said.
