Makhachkala, December 25, 2018. Today, December 25, the representatives of the republican Ministry of Transport took part in a working meeting with the deputy head of Moscow Government Traffic Organization Center Alexander Evsin.
According to the press service of the ministry, the parties discussed the issues of introducing technical systems of traffic management, the regulatory issues, the peculiarities of interaction among the regional and municipal authorities, as well as exchanged experience in long-term cooperation.

The meeting was held as part of the implementation of paragraphs of the Federal Law No. 443 “On Organization of Road Traffic”, which is entering into force on December 30, 2018. It is planned to create a regional Center for the Organization of Road Traffic under the Ministry of Transport and Road Economy of the Republic.

The Head of the Administrative and Legal Department of the Ministry of Transport Ibrahim Gashimov pointed out that since January 1, 2019 all the financial means received from fines for traffic violation will be directed to the Road Fund. “From there, they can be spent in a targeted way for the organization and safety of road traffic” – the officer specified.

The source added that the representatives of the ministry also examined the situation center, got familiarized with the work of the automated traffic control system and the traffic light facilities.
