Makhachkala, December 10, 2019. The day before, on December 9, the rector of Dagestan State Agrarian University Zaydin Dzhambulatov met with guests fr om Italy - Signor Rodolfo Andrea Bertoli and his assistant Andrea Benini.

According to the press service of the university, during the meeting, the parties discussed issues regarding an eventual cooperation in the field of agriculture. As to Zaydin Dzhambulatov, the climatic conditions in Dagestan are quite suitable for the cultivation of such a heat and water-demanding crop as olives. Besides, the university scientists have sufficient experience to establish its production, Dzhambulatov said.

“The production of olives and olive oil using small and medium-sized forms of management can eventually become part of the national economic development program, within the framework of which Dagestan authorities solve issues aimed at saturating market with quality environmentally friendly products, establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with the leading world producers, etc.” - the rector is quoted saying.

During the meeting, the guests visited the cheese factory, wh ere they got familiarized with  certain peculiarities of production and tasted cheeses and other dairy products. In turn, the guests noted the high quality of products and wished the company all prosperity.
