Rayudin Yussufov participates in a seminar of ministry of economic development on interaction with regions

Makhachkala, April 2, 2014. Daghestani minister of economy and regional development Rayudin Yussufov took part in a two-day seminar for the representatives of Russian regions, the ministry of economic development official reports.

The minister of economic development of the Russian Federation, Alexei Ulyukayev, his deputies, the directors of departments of the ministry attended the event.
The main goal of the seminar is to provide interaction between the ministry of economic development and executive authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation directed at the improvement of public policy and regulatory frameworks in the field of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation.

According to the spokesperson, the event was held in the form of an interactive workshop. It is a new format reflecting an interaction between department and the executive bodies of state power in subjects.

The meeting participants dealt with relevant issues related to the interaction with the regions: developing cities, creating special economic zones, attracting investments to the regions and preparing regional forecasts of medium-term development.

In his speech, Alexei Ulyukayev told about the economic situation in the country, macroeconomic indicators, plans for the next period, as well as investment climate improvement and measures to support exports.

The seminar attendees also discussed the main aspects of economic growth, the structure of capital outflow, the changes in budgetary rules and the simplification of procedures related to the application of budgetary guarantees.
