Makhachkala, September 4, 2015. The prospects for the tourism development in Dagestan will be  presented at the Third Tourism Forum "Cultural and educational tourism: holiday with history", which takes place in the Crimea, Dagestan Tourism Committee official reports.

The representatives of 25 regions of the Russian Federation have come to participate in the forum in Yalta. Sharapudin Salikhov, the official of SFI RD “"Tourist information center “Dagestan”” represents the republic of Dagestan at the forum.

Besides, the forum is attended by members of the Federation Council, the State Duma deputies, the leadership of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation,  the Federal Agency for Tourism, the Russian Union of Tourism Industry, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, the heads and specialists of state, regional and municipal authorities in the field of tourism and culture.

The forum entitled "Cultural and educational tourism: holiday with history" is held with a view to discuss the progress in implementation of the tourism development strategy in the Russian Federation for the period till 2020, the measures of effective interaction of cultural heritage and tourism industry and the innovative practices of using cultural heritage objects in the cultural tours .

Sharapudin Salikhov will deliver a report on the "Prospects for the tourism development in Dagestan".
