Production of environmentally friendly baby food starts in Dagestan

Makhachkala, June 10, 2015. In Gergebilskaya district of Dagestan, the Minister for the North Caucasus Lev Kuznetsov and Head of the republic of Ramazan Abdulatipov have inaugurated the production line for baby food by the company "Kikuninsky cannery". All stages of production - from planting fruit trees to the processing of raw materials and final production are carried out independently in the plant.

Currently, the production of eight varieties of canned baby food have been set up: fruit puree of two kinds, carrot juice, fruit and vegetable puree of five species. All products are environmentally friendly.

The investor spent 182 million rubles to purchase equipment for baby food production line. Production capacity makes 30 thousand cans per shift. Besides, as part of the investment project in the cannery a warehouse for the storage of finished products and shop with quality control laboratory were built. In the near future it is planned to start the release of fruit and dairy blends and clarified apple juice.
