A new year-round hotel complex is planned to be constructed on the shore of the Caspian Sea in Kayakentsky municipal district of Dagestan. The new premium segment resort with a room capacity of 183 rooms will be called Palace Derbent.

It is worth noting that apart from the hotel, the resort will have a SPA-complex with indoor and outdoor pools, all the necessary entertainment and sports infrastructure, as well as a yacht marina for small sailing and motor boats.

It is also specified that the construction and commissioning of the facilities is expected to be completed by 2026. According to the regional Ministry of Tourism, the demand for recreation in Dagestan is very high. In the past year, the region welcomed about a million and a half tourists, and the tourist flow continues to grow.
