Derbent, April 20, 2019. As part of the repair campaign, the Federal Grid Company plans to allocate funds in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles to expand the 330 kV Derbent substation. Besides, the company intends to fully complete the construction of the 500 kV Nevinnomyssk-Mozdok energy transit line with a total length of 265 km. It is reported that it will increase the reliability of electricity supply to the consumers in Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria and Northern Ossetia. The company stated that over the past autumn-winter period of 2018-2019, there was a decrease in accident rate at the serviced sites by 14%. Thus, FGC UES has ensured the stable functioning of the main power grids in the territory of 15 entities with a total population of 25 million residents.
