On March 9, the prime minister of the Government of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov chaired a meeting on the construction of a full-cycle meat processing plant in the republic.

In Dagestan, the officials say, it is planned to build a new enterprise for the production and processing of full-cycle meat products. The products of Dagestan agricultural producers are in demand throughout the country. The issue of increasing the production of finished products is becoming especially relevant, Abdulmuslimov said.

The launch of the enterprise will have a positive impact on the economy of the republic and will provide high-quality meat products not only to Dagestanis, but to the residents of other regions of the Russian Federation as well.

Funding will be provided by RosAgroLeasing JSC and the republican budget. Preliminary consideration is given to 2 sites in Kizilyurtovski municipal district.

During the meeting, the members of the working group discussed details of the project implementation: providing the necessary infrastructure, determining the required capacities for electricity and gas supply to the facility under construction, etc. As a result of the discussion, a roadmap was formed and signed to implement the first measures for the construction of a full-cycle meat processing enterprise.
