Moscow Halal Expo to unite Muslim fashion designers

Makhachkala, March 11, 2015. The 4th International Moscow Halal Expo exhibition will be held May 21-23 to unite Islamic fashion designers, a source in the exhibition’s organizing committee told RIA Dagestan.

The event will take place in the international exhibition center Crocus Expo where the visitors will see an annual project called Moscow Halal Style which will encompass a Style & Textile exposure, a fashion forum, and an area for presenting clothing brands and business meetings for designers.

Style & Textile will present fashion designers of Muslim clothing, accessories, and jewelry. Presented will be casual and evening clothes, leisure and office wear, teen clothes and hijabs for schools. Among other participants will be suppliers of natural fabrics, accessories, cosmetics, perfumes, and jewelry. The participating designers’ clothing brands will represent different price segments allowing the visitors to see he full range of the Russian Halal fashion design market.

In 2014, Muslim designers’ brands were presented in the largest shopping centers in Russia, which speaks for their competitiveness along with well-known European and Russian brands. Many designers that reach success in Russia are expanding further to foreign markets.

Obviously, presentation of the manufacturers’ products to end customers is an issue of significance today.  Accordingly, the business forum will feature a project of a multi-brand store that will allow designers and clothing manufacturers to obtain a permanent site in modern shopping centers. Apart from that, Moscow Halal Expo will for the first time ever present an analytical study of Muslim clothing market in Russia, including customer segmentation.

Moscow Halal Expo will be a b2b exhibition – the large-scale project will help participants and guests establish business partnerships, implement joint projects, attract foreign investment, and arrange long-term contracts with suppliers, vendors, retailers and franchisees.
