Makhachkala, July 15, 2018. The day before, the republican Ministry of Tourism and Folk Arts and the "Caliber" JSC signed an agreement on the joint construction of the Center of folk arts and crafts in the village of Balkhar, Akushinsky district of Dagestan.

AS to the ministry press service, Rabiyat Zakavova, the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Dagestan, and Rasul Kalandarov, the director general of the “Caliber” company agreed on the preservation and development the traditional crafts - the production of art products from ceramics and jewelry.

The amount of investment into the fixed assets under the project totals up to 22 million rubles. The expected timeframe for reaching the full production capacity is 2019.
