Magomed Isayev participates in a meeting of tourism ministers in Sochi

Makhachkala, June 16, 2014. The chairman of Daghestan Tourism Committee Magomed Isayev is taking part in the international meeting of tourism ministers entitled “Mega-events for sustainable tourism development " in Sochi where eminent personalities from various countries and regions of Russia are discussing international issues of tourism development within two days.

The issues related to optimization of economic and social problems in the tourism sector, as well as the ways promoting various tourist brands and the possibility of using effective marketing strategies are agreed. The second day will be devoted to the discussion of strategic partnerships as a tool for effective planning and implementation of mega-events.

The honored guests, including the minister of culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinskiy, the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai, the State Duma Deputy, the Chairman of the Expert Council on domestic and inbound tourism in the Russian Federation Sergey Krivonosov, the interim head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Oleg Safonov, the governor of Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachev and the top managers from Azerbaijan, Korea, Italy, Croatia, Monaco, Hungary, Belgium, Argentina, Egypt, Bulgaria and many other countries arrived in Sochi to take part in the event.
