Largest cargo terminal in south of Russia opens in Dagestan

Makhachkala, November 16, 2017. The largest terminal of modular cargoes in the south of Russia, constructed by the company "Business lines", has been officially put into operation on Thursday in Makhachkala.

"The development of transport infrastructure and the increase in freight turnover, the rapid growth of warehouse operations and commodity circulation in the region serve as an impetus for the development of our network in Dagestan" Farid Madani, the director general of Business Lines, said at the opening ceremony.

According to Madani, the opening of such a large facility will increase the tax revenues to the city budget and create additional jobs for the city's residents. The new cargo terminal has an advantageous location, high transport accessibility and the absence of other major carriers. It puts the new terminal in demand among the metalworking, engineering and light industry enterprises, as well as trade companies and individual entrepreneurs of the region

The modern warehouse complex of class "A" is equipped with the newest equipment for cargo handling and packing and provides a full range of freight forwarding services, including reception, handling, warehousing, storage and dispatch of goods, as well as insurance of road transport throughout the territory of Russia.
