Makhachkala, November 23, 2017. The concern "KEMP" (Kizlar Electro Mechanical Plant, Dagestan) plans to produce three super-light four-seat multi-purpose aircraft MAI-411 with low fuel consumption, the press service of administration of the Head and the Government of the republic said on results of a trip to the enterprise of the presidential envoy in the North Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) Oleg Belaventsev and the interim Head of Dagestan Vladimir Vasilyev.

"Accompanied by Ibraghim Akhmatov, the director general  of the concern, the top officials visited the production departments of the concern, in particular, they got familiriazed with the process of production of the  small aircraft. "KEMP" plans to produce three of these aircraft"- in the press service officer says.  

The MAI 411 aircraft is an analogue to the European CS-23 and the American FAR-23 vehicles. It has a strong aluminum construction lined with ultra-light composite materials. The experts believe that this inexpensive aircraft will be in demand in Russia and can be competitive abroad.

Nowadays, the project employs 18 specialists of the enterprise, the only problem is to carry out all the necessary test activities, the general director of the concern confessed. Vasiliev and Belaventsev  have highly eveluated the technical characteristics of the serial model MAI-411 , the press service noted.
