Iranian manufacturers to supply products to Dagestan

Makhachkala, April 4, 2017. The representatives of Iran will provide information about 400 Iranian enterprises that intend to supply products to the Russian market, including Dagestan, the press service of Dagestan Ministry of Industry and Trade reports.

According to the ministry’s spokesperson, in February 2017, the head of the association of Iran-Dagestan trade and economic cooperation Shamil Gadzhiev visited the territory of Iran’s free economic zone in Anzali. During the visit, the parties reached agreements on trade and economic cooperation between the two regions.

"The Iranian authorities expressed readiness to provide information on the enterprises in Iran, to supply products to the Russian market, to buy Russian goods, and to provide exhibition space in the free economic zone of Anzali (about 1,000 square meters) for Dagestan products.

It is worth noting that the Iranians give priority to the purchase of rice and meat products."- the spokesperson stated.
Dagestani producers intend to arrive to Iran in April this year.

"Joint venture companies will be opened on the territory of Iran’s free economic zone in Anzali. This territory has a special legal status in relation to the preferential economic conditions for national and foreign entrepreneurs, "- the spokesperson concluded.

Recall, in August 2016, the association of Iran-Dagestan trade and economic cooperation under the auspices of Dagestan Ministry of Industry and Trade was established as an institution for the development of foreign economic relations between Iran and Dagestan.
