Makhachkala, January 31, 2018. The specialists of the Iranian automotive company Saipa Diesel intend to arrange the assembly of trucks in Dagestan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic reports.

"Iranian investors intend to realize the production of trucks in the republic" the ministry official is quoted saying. The timing of the project and the amount of investment have not been announced yet. The Ministry assured Iranian producers of providing all possible support.

As to the director general of the company Saipa Diesel, during 2017, Iranian automakers produced 650 thousand trucks and cars, having established cooperation with a number of large European enterprises.
