Investment potential of Northern Caucasus to be discussed in Sochi

Makhachkala, September 18, 2015. On Saturday, October 3, the International Investment Forum "Sochi-2015" will host the round table on the theme "Investments in the Caucasus. Project management experience and opportunities for investors ", the federal Ministry for Affairs of the Northern Caucasus reports.

The roundtable participants will discuss the main directions of investment activity on the territory of the North Caucasus; in particular, the development of the tourism cluster, agriculture, the development of the city of Caucasian Mineral Waters, as well as the investment climate improving measures.

During the event, the investors who display interest to the region may ask the most relevant questions related to obtaining government guarantees, finding local partners, the land allocation and tax benefits obtaining issues.

The event will be attended by the Minister of the Russian Federation for Affairs of the Northern Caucasus Lev Kuznetsov; AV Group president Alexei Krylov; the Honorary Consul General of Italy in the Southern and North Caucasus Federal District Pierpaolo Lodigiani; the Plenipotentiary Representative of RF President in the North Caucasian Federal District Sergey Melikov; the Director General of the JSC "North Caucasus Development Corporation" Sergei Kharitonov.

International Investment Forum will be held on October 1 - 4 at the site of the Main Media Center in the Olympic Park. The total area of the exhibition halls is more than 5 thousand sq. m. The business program of the forum, this year, envisages holding the plenary session with participation of approx. 1.9 thousand.
participants and 12 round tables designed for 2.2 thousand attendees. The main topics of the business program concern the import substitution, the development of the financial market, the changes in the structure of the Russian economy and the realization of the export potential.
