The Caspian Coast aquafarm in Rechnoye village recently unveiled a new product line featuring African clary catfish. This species, not typically found in local waters, has been successfully adapted for aquaculture.

The presentation was attended by government officials and representatives from major retail chains, highlighting the project's strategic significance for the region.  A defining characteristic of the production process is its utilization of advanced closed-loop water recycling technology, encompassing all stages from breeding to final product development.

Attendees were introduced to a wide range of clary catfish products, including cuts, fillets, canned goods, snacks, and semi-finished items. Tastings of dishes prepared with this fish were also offered. Beyond its own operations, the company actively supports industry growth by supplying juvenile catfish to other farms for further cultivation.
