The index of industrial production in Dagestan in 2023 amounted to 114.4%. As specified by the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade, the growth of indicators was particularly influenced by the increase in in the segment of manufacturing industries (117.8%), provision of electricity and steam (105%). In 2023, the region increased the volume of shipped goods of industrial production by 11%, bringing the figure to 80.9 billion rubles. Significant growth was also registered in the production of furniture, footwear and glass products.
