We intend to establish concerted dialogue with authorities and, together, we will try to get people in the Stavropol region and the North Caucasian region feel safe and live in dignity" - Alexander Brod is quoted saying.

"It is very important to maintain stability and to continue the formation of the legal state. Therefore, the participation of a certain part of human rights defenders, social activists and the lawyers specializing in the protection of constitutional rights of citizens is vital. The idea of creating such a Center has been developed for two years" – the human rights activist confessed.
Alexander Brod also added that 10 citizens concerned about utility rates, poor service and the work of state courts, visited the reception. "We intend to consider all the requests and to apply to the authorities in the future", - the head of the Moscow Bureau for Human Rights said.

The human rights activists will also receive petitions on security, law enforcement, corruption, and, if the need arises, to transmit information on detected difficulties to the federal level. "We are ready to accept all the residents of the Northern Caucasus, the people who are in need of help. After all, the practice shows that our citizens continue facing the callousness of officials, bureaucracy and unjust labor relations" – Brod noted.

The president of Stavropol Territory Lawers’ Association Vladislav Hrushevsky reported about the ongoing negotiations on the opening of similar receptions in other regions of the North Caucasian Federal District.
