First Daghestan forum of industrialists and entrepreneurs to be held in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, November 14, 2014. The 1st Daghestan forum of industrialists and entrepreneurs will take place in Makhachkala on 21-23 November, the press service of Daghestan ministry of industry, trade and investment told RIA "Dagestan". It aims at supporting local producers and service providers in marketing and promoting their goods.

The participants will be given full and accurate information about the commercial, industrial and investment potential of the republic, and some major investment projects for consideration.

The forum will feature a "Quality Mark Daghestan" competition to facilitate promotion of products and services to those running businesses in the republic, which will help local producers develop and strengthen.

Organizers report that this event will allow the exhibitors to showcase samples of their production and demonstrate their new developments and technical advances in order to arrange trade deals and find potential buyers. They’ll also hold a meeting of officials from regional chambers of commerce of the country and business delegations from the North Caucasus Federal District.

The event also aims at consolidating efforts taken by national public organizations of industrialists, entrepreneurs and producers in implementing the economic policy to enhance production and business activities, establish diverse mutually beneficial economic ties, and boost work done by associations of industrialists and businessmen in economic and social development.

At the forum, visitors will also be able to attend a republican fair named "100 best goods of Daghestan." The exhibition is expected to help create a favorable investment image of the republic and form a stable internal and external demand for Daghestani manufacturers’ products.
