Electronic document management system used by 3,500 people in Dagestan in 2015

Makhachkala, January 12, 2015.  Currently, over 3,500 users apply the Unified interagency electronic document management system in Dagestan, the press service of the republican ministry of telecommunications told RIA Dagestan.

In December 2014, 28 executive bodies, 10 urban district administrations, and 42 municipal district administrations were connected to the system in Dagestan.
The single storage system contains more than 236,000 documents and more than 300,000 resolutions of total volume of 250GB. Every day, the system registers about 1,200 new documents and about 1,500 new resolutions.

"Introducing a single electronic space at the republican level allows for streaming material resources to developing a single solution, thus making the process more efficient," said head of the e-government development board of Dagestan Ministry of Communications Askandar Magomedov.

He also noted that the ministry’s experts are updating the system server to provide proceeding to a legally valid e-documentation in the near future.
