On March 12, during their visit to Dagestan the representatives of Navy of the RF Defense Ministry visited the Concern KEMZ OJSC located in the city of Kizlyar. The director general of the defense enterprise Ibragim Akhmatov accompanied the top officers through the area with high-tech and high-precision modern equipment.

The members of the delegation also visited a plant for the production of energy-saving lamps and an exhibition of factory products. The Navy officers were greatly impressed by the assembly shop for light-engine aircraft and helicopters, including the MAI-411. According to the director general, the area of the plant totals to more than 10 thousand square meters.

Besides, Akhmatov told the guests about the airline company "KEMZ AVIA", which belongs to the concern and noted that it was created for the development of small aircraft flights in the republic. KEMZ AVIA has an operator certificate and three An-2, one SL-2 and one MAI-411 multipurpose aircraft vehicles.

“Last year, using our own funds, we built the highest-altitude runway in Russia at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level in the village of Machada, Shamilsky municipal district. We repaired a 600 m long runway in the village of Golotl at an altitude of 780 m above sea level. Our An-2 aircraft of the KEMZ AVIA airline successfully completed a test flight on the route Kizlyar - Machada - Kizlyar” - Akhmatov concluded.
