Daghestani representative takes part in the meeting of the Coordinating Council for Tourism at the Ministry of Culture RF

Makhachkala, July 10, 2014. The Chairman of the Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Dagestan Magomed Isayev has participated in the plenary session of the IV Coordinating Council for Tourism at the Ministry of Culture RF under the leadership of deputy Minister Alla Manilova, held July 7-8 in Tula State Museum of Warfare.

The governor of Tula region Vladimir Gruzdev, the regional Culture Minister Tatyana Ribkina delivered reports at the meeting. The Council attendees discussed issues related to the prospects of tourism cluster development in the regions. Magomed Isayev spoke on "Cluster approach to sustainable tourism development in the Republic of Dagestan."

"The vector of development of the Russian tourism industry concept is defined in the federal target program "The development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation (2011-2018 years). "Currently the Republic of Dagestan, which has a great tourism potential, carries out activities aimed at active use of cluster policy in regional development " - Isayev said.

Magomed Isayev added that since 2010 much has been done to organize a special economic zone in the Caspian coastal cluster in the municipalities "Karabudahkenskiy district", "Kayakentsky district", "Derbent district", "Magaramkentski district " and “Kizlyar district” of the republic of Daghestan within a year.

"Cluster policy is a key tool in solving tasks necessary for the qualitative development of tourist industry in the region, the innovative capacity and the level of economic development of the country as a whole, because the experience of implementation of policy is important for all the regions" - Isayev pointed out.

Another meeting on the development of infrastructure for tourist information centers, tourist unified system navigation, the use of the National calendar of events for the development of tourist routes passed in Bogoroditsky Palace Museum on July 8. The participants also visited the Coordinating Council of tourist and recreation cluster "Tula phenomenon" and got familiarized with the "South-eastern frontiers" project.
