Daghestan representative participates in 1st Investment Forum in Crimea

Makhachkala, October 10, 2014. The 1st Investment Forum of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation “RosKrymInvest” took place in Yalta, Crimea. The forum that became a very important event in the sphere of attracting investments in all district of economic development of the Crimea and Sevastopol was initiated and organized by the Chamber of Commerce RF.

Having taken an active part in business meetings and negotiations, Murad Salikhov, a representative of Daghestan Government in Sevastopol presented the republic of Daghestan.

Murad Salikhov noted that the Crimean peninsula is one of the lost and found gems of Russia, and the business community of Daghestan is ready to share its experiences and to cooperate in expanding mutually beneficial resort and tourist contacts among the enterprises of the Crimea and Daghestan.

An exhibition of manufacturers, including an exhibition of Crimean goods and products of member companies of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (RF CCI) was held within the forum. More than 38 delegations from the Chambers of Commerce of the Russian Federation from Sakhalin to Kaliningrad participated in the exhibition. The exhibition has become one of the most significant events in the economic life of the peninsula and will surely take the leading position among the other investment projects.

The main objective of the exhibition is to become a new platform for business cooperation, first of all, industry professionals. The exhibitors presented investment projects that will have a significant impact on the future economic development of the Crimea.
