Makhachkala, November 5, 2014. Daghestan ministry of industry, trade and investment invites investors to participate in composing Daghestan exposure in the "Russia" theme park located in Domodedovo district, Moscow region, the press service of the ministry told RIA "Daghestan".

"To make a region’s exposition in the park means to build there the sights of the region. The construction is to be funded from regional budgets and private sources. Later, Daghestani symbols will be commercially used as hotels, restaurants, shops with branded goods and souvenirs, cultural and leisure facilities and for holding various national and international events in the park," said the source.

The concept of the first theme park in Russia has been developed under the auspices of the Russian Geographical Society. The park is supposed to occupy 1,000 hectares in the Domodedovo district, Moscow region, in close proximity to the "Domodedovo" international airport.

The project is aimed at creating a landscape and recreational complex to represent Russia in all its geographical, natural and cultural diversity. Organizers claim that the original concept and territorial proximity to Moscow will make the park one of the country's main tourist attractions.
