Makhachkala, May 8, 2014. On May 7, Daghestan Ministry of Trade, Investment and Entrepreneurship held a meeting with a number of Daghestan producers to discuss sales of Daghestan products, a source in the ministry told RIA "Daghestan". The meeting brought together "Kizlyaragrokomplex" LLC, "Deneb" LLC, "Summer Garden" LLC, "Agromir" LLC, "Dagintern" LLC, the "Niva" complex, the "Nur" farm, "Pishevik" JSC, and other companies.

Participants discussed problems of promoting Daghestan products on domestic and outer markets. They also disputed on prospects of cooperation with Stavropol entrepreneurs in the framework of the cooperation agreement for 2013-2015 between the Daghestan and Stavropol governments and on preparing a draft memorandum of cooperation until 2016 between the 2 governments.

Due to the urgency of upgrading the quality of Daghestan products and the need to improve marketing by "Daghestan" Trading House" JSC, participants outlined the major problems manufacturers face in promoting their products. They also gave recommendations about modern techniques of promoting products as far as retail networks’ shelves.
