Makhachkala, June 9, 2014. Daghestan ministry of economy and regional development and the Khasavyurt region administration held a joint meeting to better their interaction and ensure implementation of economic and social goals in Khasavyurt region, a source in the ministry told RIA "Daghestan".

The meeting was attended by the head of Khasavyurt region Djambulat Salavov, the head of Khasavyurt region administration Zagir Botashev, the deputy of Daghestan National Assembly Bagadur Abassov, the head of the department of economics and social development Assiyat Arslankhanova, and officials from the ministry of economy.

During the meeting, parties discussed implementation of 2 agreements: on increasing the tax base for property taxes, identifying persons engaged in illegal business activities and their further tax registration and on implementing the priority Daghestan development project "Whitewashing" the economy".

Daghestan Economy Minister Rayudin Yussufov noted that agriculture was a priority area of considerable development potential for Khasavyurt region. "We need to study supporting agricultural producers," he said, and recommended they take the advantage of their potential, buy local quality food to be catered to schools, kindergartens and hospitals.

At the end of the meeting, Bagadur Abassov thanked Rayudin Yussufov for assistance in implementing the most critical issues. Djambulat Salavov said he was sure that their interaction will give momentum to achieving good economic and social indicators.
