Makhachkala, April 4, 2017. Dagestan wine production will be presented for the first time at the 51st international wine and alcohol exhibition VINITALY-2017, held in the Italian city of Verona on April 9-12, the press-service of Dagestan Ministry of Agriculture and Food informs.
As to the spokesperson, the participation in the exhibition will allow Dagestan to demonstrate the investment attractiveness and uniqueness of Dagestan winemaking industry.
Totally, about 20 Russian companies from six regions of the country will present about 600 products. Besides, the Republic of Crimea, Rostov region, the cities of Sevastopol and Krasnodar and Stavropol Territory will organize their own regional expositions.
During the four days of the exhibition, the participants will get familiarized with the work of wineries, evaluate their potential, taste the products at the presentation areas of the Russian stand, as well as to visit master classes organized within the business program.
Today in Dagestan, the main alcohol producers are Derbent Brandy Factory OJSC, Derbent sparkling plant OJSC, Kizlyar Brandy Factory FSUE and Izberbash Wine cognac factory CJSC.
VINITALY is one of the most iconic exhibitions of the wine industry in the world. A year earlier, more than 4 thousand exhibitors from 30 countries and about 150 thousand visitors took part in the exhibition.
