Makhachkala, July 11, 2018. The all-Russian competition "Project Olympus", organized on the initiative of the Analytical center under the Government of the Russian Federation with the assistance of the Russian project management Association" SOVNET", started in early July this year, the Ministry of tourism RD reports.

The Republic of Dagestan was presented by two projects: "The development of tourist and recreational complex in the Republic of Dagestan" (functional customer of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Dagestan) and the program of complex development of transport infrastructure of Makhachkala city agglomeration within the priority direction of strategic development of the Russian Federation "Safe and quality roads" (the project is implemented by the Ministry of transport and road economy of the Republic together with the administration of Makhachkala).

The projects were presented in the nomination "The management of complex projects - the best project of the year". Both of projects reached the final stage of the competition. Following the results of an evaluation by the competition jury, the project "The development of tourist and recreational complex in the Republic of Dagestan" won the third prize in the nomination "Mega project".
