Makhachkala, July 15, 2016. After a two-month hiatus Dagestan resumed transshipment of Turkmen oil via Makhachkala Sea Trading Port: the tanker "Azeri-Karabakh" with the first batch of oil from Turkmenistan entered the sea port, the assistant to director general of the port Alik Abdulgamidov said.

"By afternoon (the day before) more than 6 thousand tons of oil were unloaded into the tanks of "Dagnefteprodukt", JSC from the vessel from Turkmenistan" – TASS quotes the interlocutor.

In accordance with the concluded contract for a month through the port handled no less than 50 thousand tons of Turkmen oil. It is expected that in September, its volume will increase in 4-5 times and make more than 200 thousand tons, - the first deputy general director of Makhachkala sea trading port Murad Hidirov noted.

The port continues transshipment of Kazakh oil. "The quota for Kazakh oil transshipment remains the same - about 200 thousand tons per month" - Abdulgamidov said.
