A delegation of Dagestan entrepreneurs will hold a business mission to Iraq on December 19 - 23 to discuss options for establishing new trade links with foreign colleagues. The delegation will consist mainly of entrepreneurs engaged in the fish and meat business, the head of Dagestan Export Support Centre, Ruslan Abaskuliyev says.

As to Abaskuliyev, Dagestan exported goods worth $20 million to Iraq this year, a record in recent years. "Iraq imports vegetables and fruits from other countries of the world, although Dagestan is closer and has convenient logistics. Therefore, deliveries from us will be both more profitable and faster" - the top official noted.
