Dagestan industrial giant KEMZ OJSC plans to start supplying small aircrafts to Malaysia, India and Turkey in the next three years. The new Alfa-KM type planes will become the main vehicle to be exported. The small aircraft is expected to be certified in the nearest future, respectively, after which mass production will start. Besides, the issue of replacement of the imported engine with the domestic analogue is being solved.

“We need to carry out hard laborious work to restore the aviation industry abandoned in the 1990s. It is important to give impetus for its growth in the future. If the machine takes the sky, it will really be a small, but still an achievement for the current state of the small aircraft industry” – the plant official is quoted as saying.
